“Alyssa: The Story of a Girl Who Found Her Spark and Shared It with the World” isn’t just about Happy Cards—it’s the true story of Alyssa’s life. From her childhood to starting her coffee cart, joining Best Buddies, competing in pageants, and eventually creating her famous Happy Cards, this book shares how Alyssa grew into the confident, joyful, and determined woman she is today.
While the Happy Cards Coloring Book is all about spreading smiles through artwork and positive messages, this new book is more personal and powerful. It’s meant to inspire anyone who has ever felt different—especially people with disabilities—to believe in themselves, follow their dreams, and find their own spark.
This is Alyssa’s journey. And it just might light the way for someone else.

This was Alyssa’s very first — and only — design at the time, inspired by everyone wearing masks during COVID.
“Stay safe. Love, Alyssa.” Short, sweet, and straight from the heart — this message kicked off her Happy Card journey.
Alyssa’s first butterfly card — all her own coloring! She was still building stamina, and it became the start of a beautiful mother-daughter project.
Alyssa drew the design, and Mom helped with the coloring. What started as a way to spend time together during COVID turned into a joyful daily tradition.
